Due to a COVID outbreak, we had to relocate our event and make changes to the program because people were ill and could not attend. Approximately 75 people attended the celebration at St. Paul Lutheran Church Parish Hall and a delicious meal was catered. Ros Salmeron, President presented each Club member with the 50th Anniversary pins and also presented the Paul Harris awards. This making our Club a 100% Paul Harris Club. The entertainment for the event was provided by Brett Marshall on keyboard.

A few months later a dinner gathering was held at Colletti’s Restaurant to also honor the Club members who could not attend the function in January. District Governor Amando Chapa presented the Paul Harris awards to the Club members and also presented the 100% Paul Harris Club banner to Ros Salmeron, President.

City of Harlingen, Mayor Chris Boswell presented this Proclamation to the Rotary Club of North Harlingen at our 50th Anniversary celebration.
